World Book Day 2019

On World Book Day, we asked the children to come to school dressed as a hero or favourite book character. We wanted the children to understand that heroes can present themselves in many different ways. We had book characters, family members or someone that has a really important job in helping us and looking after us.

As well as taking part in fun activities to promote reading in school, the children also had the opportunity to purchase old and new books.
